Jason- The protagonist of this story. Jason embarks on the quest for the Golden Fleece. He has the favor of the gods on his side. He is the son of an usurped king and is the rightful heir to the throne. He and his fellow Argonauts embark on a quest for the golden fleece in order to retake his rightful throne. Along the way he falls in love with Medea. King Pelias- The main antagonist in this story, King Pelias becomes terrified when he sees Jason return. An oracle gave him a prophecy that when a man with one sandal comes to the land it would mean impending doom for Pelias. Pelias to get around this prophecy by sending Jason on an impossible journey that he is sure will lead to Jason's death. The Argonauts- The band of heroes who accompany Jason on his journey. Some notable heroes include Hercules, Ankaios, and Polyphemus. Medea- A witch princess. She is the son of King Aetes of Colich. She is shot by an arrow by cupid and falls in love with Jason. She rescues Jason more times than one can count on a hand. However, he is very unappreciative. Prixus- The son of King Athamas and Nephele. His father remarries a woman named Ino, Ino tries to kill him and his sister Helle. However, a golden ram comes to save them. Golden Ram- More of an object than a character, the Ram rescues Prixus and brings him to Colich. However, Prixus sacrifices the lamb and gives its fleece to Aetes. Aetes- A minor antagonist in the story, Aetes is the king of Colich. He has the Golden Fleece in his possession. When Jason comes to retrieve it, Aetes contrives a series of impossible challenges. However, with the help of Medea, Jason overcomes these and steals Aete's fleece.

Great Strengths
Fatal Flaws
*Slow to Anger- Whenever women cheated on Hamleseidon or got on his
nerves he would simply sit around and contimplate what he should do to
solve the situation.
*Ability to Feign Madness- Whenever Hamleseidon decided to move on to
the next woman (as all Greek gods seem to do) all he would need to do was
act crazy and convince the woman to leave him.
*Ability to come up with really cool sayings- Hamleseidon has the ability to
come up with really poetic sounding stuff on the spot. His sayings are used
by young men to this day in trying to win women over such as
Doubt thou Hephaestus is fire;
Doubt that Apollo doth move;
Doubt truth to be a liar;
But never doubt I love.
*Trust in Humans- both a good thing and a bad Hamleseidon tends
to think of humans as good willed. However, he often becomes very
disillusioned when he sees the corruption of both gods and men.
*Indecisive- Hamleseidon lacks the ability to ever make up his mind. I doubt he
could ever fall in love with someone because all he would do is run around saying,
"To be with her, or not to be with her."
*Is it really Feigned Madness-At times it seems that Hamleseidon really is
completely crazy. He seems to have a slight disliking for women with comments like
"Frailty thy name is Hera." and "Get thee to a temple of Apollo."
*Loved by Hades- All of the women around Hamleseidon seem to randomly fall
down dead. Whether it be poison or drowning, Hades loves Hamleseidon for
sending so many beautiful women to him.
